I worked for this agency twice. First time in Albuquerque. The housing furniture ate me alive with fleas, however they did take care of it and exchanged the furniture and fumigated the apartment. The second time I worked for this agency was in St. Louis, MO. Many of the staff (not all) at St. Marys were racists (I am Caucasian), the psychiatrist was Russian and had a very thick accent which made verifying orders even more important, but he insisted nurses do not “read back” orders regardless of my stating this is a nursing standard and mandated by our boards, after which he targeted me for insult. He also admitted any psych patient to the point of admitting a dangerous patient who severely injured two nurses who had to be admitted to ICU. There were not sufficient staff to manage these types of patients. When I called Procare to report the unsafe issues, I was met with “well just hang in there a few more weeks”. I have never ever left a job or redacted a contract in 6 years of travel nursing until this time. The total disregard of my and others safety is inexcusable. Do not work for this agency!

Worst experience by far. name removed was very unprofessional and rude. When I decided to take an assignment somewhere else, he called me names and told me that I stabbed him in the back. I couldn’t believe that I was dealing with a “professional” organization. Never working with them again or recommending them. In fact, I would recommend to most, that they turn away and run as fats as they can toward Emerald Health Services.
