  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Manager was fabulous to work for, schedule was according to unit needs, OT available if wanted. Staff fantastic to work with, has had history of good and bad travelers in unit but are open and accepting, Docs great to work with and open communication. Tourist areas for skiing, boarding, hike & bike, destination for artists and musicians. High cost of living and taxes. Winter = snow and ice frequently at 7600 feet plus. DRINK LOTS OF WATER! 02/04/2015
    • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Whitten Inn. Housing was located in city of Taos. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Best dollar value for monthly rate in town, most rooms clean but OUTDATED, weekly housekeeping, heated indoor pool and whirlpool. light continental breakfast. Close to hospital, bad location in heavy-traffic times of the day.
