  • I worked in the Med Surg department(s) in the hospital. Staff morale is very poor. Managers care nothing about the happiness of staff. Workload is constantly being increased by managers of things that are expected of you. Very small hospital. Very poor equipment. Save yourself some stress and go somewhere else. The DON needs to clean house on managers and permanent nurses. The place is being run into the ground. Lots of permanent nurses leaving which should say something about the hospital itself. Lots of travelers. Not enough staff 05/03/2018
  • The name of the housing complex was Stipend. Housing was located in city of Pulaski. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I took the stipend. No hotels close to hospital.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. For the most part staff was great. There was some issues with one charge nurse. There were multiple times when everyone including the charge nurse had 3 ICU level patients. They need to work on being better staffed. 02/21/2017
  • Housing was approximately 9 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was lived with family. Housing was located in city of Olathe. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I lived in a house owned by a family member.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. I worked here for eight months between 2014-2015. The staff was friendly and good to work with. They used the oldest version of Meditech I have ever seen which was absolutely horrible to work with in the ICU. They were fairly short staffed at times and would require staff to take up to 1:3 nurse to patient ratio at times. That scared me and didn't feel safe. When staffing was adequate and patient census was down they would float travelers to the floor first and I once ended up working on the telemetry unit for two weeks straight which was upsetting. The director of the ICU was great to work with and tried making things as best as possible. 04/21/2016
  • Housing was approximately 11 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was The Falls. Housing was located in city of Mission. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. The people in the apartment complex are a blast. The amenities are nice. It is definitely a party-friendly complex. The people running the complex are horrible to work with. They had a bad cock roach problem in one of the wings of the building that I was living in.
  • I worked in the float pool department(s) in the hospital. Location is very nice; right next to the interstate. It has an attached parking garage that night shift gets to park in. 12/22/2014
  • Housing was approximately 1/4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Extended Stay America. Housing was located in city of Overland Park. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. If you stay over 60 days, it is less than $40/day.
