  • Absolutely amazing. Saved my butt with the IRS. Last company (ranked good here) was over paying my stipends by A LOT weekly. And they didn't see what the problem was if I was at a facility for longer than a year with a stipend. Advanced educated me, got me great pay, and most of all, the team is fun and professional. Honestly won't leave them until it's time to retire. 02/20/2019
  • I've been working in the industry for a long time and have traveled for 3+ years with multiple agencies. Rise Medical Staffing is the friendliest travel nursing agency I have ever worked with. They are with me thru every step of the process and make sure that I'm 100% good with an assignment before submitting (Unlike other agencies! Argh!)They listen to my preferences and made sure the facility I went to was in line with my experience so I was comfortable on a daily basis. I have extended with them on multiple occasions. My recruiter is amazing and all the other staff that I have spoke with is incredibly polite. 12/28/2016
  • Worst travel agency to work for. Recruiter was ok other staff rude and nasty would never work for them again or recommend them to any one. These people was the worst I've ever seen. Try to get you to work for them and you're treated like crap in these hospitals.. 11/18/2016
  • I've been working with Rise for a little less than a year now. It's a small agency, mostly handles West Coast jobs. I love that they cover small rural hospitals as well as the big ones. Very quick responses from my recruiter. Pay tends toward the "max out per-diem" philosophy, but that's negotiable. So far I'm pretty happy. Much more so than my previous agency CCTC. 10/17/2016
  • These travel agencies pop up out of nowhere to exploit nurses.I've never worked with people that are so unprofessional. The have no empathy as long as you show up and work that 12 hr shift. They don't even ask you how was your day they don't care about your health. I wish all travel nurses will read this before signing any contract with them. Horrible agency to work for. 08/06/2016
  • Recruiter is ok but other are nasty how can you work for people who are so rude. Travellers do your own research before signing with them. They are all money hungry and find a way to fulfill their hunger by using experienced nurses to fill their pockets. Terrible agency to work for. Worst angency I've seen so far. I nobody sign with them They should be out of business. Their goal is to exploit nurses.1 07/28/2016
  • Nursing Travelers beware of RISE MEMICAL STAFFING. They do not have your best interest but the hospital's Their is no one at this agency who is willing to speak up on your behalf. Worst travel agency team I have ever worked with. Do not rely on them for any information about the facility because they don't even know. Rudest staff I have ever encountered. Please do not rely on them to have your back. Traveler's be aware when signing up. for Rise Medical Staffing I guaranteed you will regret it. Didn't even place them on my resume because of the terrible experience I had with them. I would never recommend them to any other travel nurse. Their interest is all about you making that paycheck so they could get paid. Didn't care what you had to go through to get it. Worst travel agency ever. TRAVELLERS BEWARE. 07/25/2016
  • Travel nurses beware of Rise Medical Staffing. Worst agency to work with offer high pay rate but its he'll when you get to the facility. That care nothing about their employee its all about you making that money to put in their pocket. They are the rudest obnoxious unempathatic people you could find. Rushing you to sign contracts without even having any knowledge of the hospitals operation. I would never subject any other travel nurse to this agency. TRAVELLERS BE WARE OF RISE MEDICAL STAFFING 07/22/2016

  • This agency needs to re-train their entire staff. Poor communication skill, nasty attitudes sending threatening email telling you if they don't receive certain documents by a certain time you won't be able to continue working. Travellers please re-consider before signing up with RISE MEDICAL STAFFING.Please do your research on the hospital before you sign your contract. They rush you to sign the contract without even telling you anything about the hospital. So when you get there it's like a culture shock to you when you see how much work you have to do without any help.If you are ever late on arriving to work they could careless what happen or why you're late. Worst agency I've work with so far would never recommended to anyone. 07/20/2016
  • Staff is unprofessional. They were not supportive only interested in you working so they could get paid. Contract is written so if you should cancel you would not receive anything. They could careless if you were sick and had to call out. Staff are rude and obnoxious. Did one contract and would never work with them again. 07/03/2016
  • This company tried to talk me into a contract that had many areas that did not have me in their best interest. They only wanted to pay me $500 for travel across country, $250 each way. Then in the contract it stated that my hours would not be guaranteed the 1st and last week of my assignment. It also stated that they could call me off for 2 shifts in my 13 weeks without pay. Lastly, and most importantly, the contract stated that the hospital could end the contract at their discretion at any time without notice, without financial fullfillment, and I would not sue them. When I spoke to the recruiter he became angry and said he put me on a do not hire list for Rise because they take their verbal agreements very seriously. Our agreement was to go over the contract. At every step I was very polite and professional but I do scrutinize contracts so I dont get screwed. He kept pushing me to sign saying "It wont happen". I dont want to take the chance. 06/30/2016
  • My recruiter is the best 06/22/2016

  • My recruiter is pretty awesome, Sean Silverstein he got me a job the same day he submitted me. I have worked with several different companies and no one has never done that for me before. 06/15/2016

  • great company 06/14/2016
  • POOR COMMUNICATION. When I fell ill called out 2 times made multiple calls to agency and to my agent and 10 phone calls to the hospital to make up time and I received no response from either. Rise Medical Staffing, AMN, Kaiser Vacaville. Manager Joe lied said he never received a phone call. 06/14/2016
  • My Recruter was very pusshy and high presure to "take the first offer" I was very put off. Then it got worse and the company was unclear of the specific requirements and I was out $300 on a class that they did not accept. Left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. 11/23/2015
  • I changed to Rise Medical Staffing after working with another company that I had problems with. They are very supportive and helped me obtain an assignment that matched my personality and skills. I would recommend them over and over. 11/19/2015

  • Every fear I new travel nurse would have about entrusting the management of their livelihood to a travel company will be dispelled once you deal with Rise. Trustworthy, professional, accurate and prompt weekly pay without fail! 08/26/2015
  • Recruiter and team are very efficient and accessible, I normally expect response within 24 hours, but they respond usually within the hour and even available via text. They were very patient and informative knowing this was my first travel assignment. I really appreciate them!! 08/25/2015
  • I have used Rise for 2 contracts in California and they have always taken great care of me. The company treats nurses like family! 05/06/2015

  • Loved Kaisa my recruiter and the payroll people were very nice and helpful. 02/15/2015
  • Terrible pay rate for assignment. Not knowledgable about facility, orientation, cost of housing, rental car availability, difficulty & cost. Terrible housing stipend for area. 02/13/2015
  • I've worked with Rise for close to two years. I've always felt supported and I learned a lot by traveling to the different hospitals. I had a phenomenal recruiter, Justin, and I would recommend him to anyone. 02/13/2015
  • I think your recruiter is the key to liking the company you are with (assuming the contract is OK, the pay rate OK, etc.) I previously worked for a company and my recruiter there took 10-14 days to return my phone calls when I had problems! Definitly TOO long! My current company is SO responsive! When I call, if I have to leave a voice mail message, my recruiter always gets back to me same day or next day at the latest! Lets face it, most pay rates are within a couple dollars of each other, so personal service is where I find the difference. I work for Rise Medical Staffing our of Sacramento, CA, and tho a small to medium size company, they are THE BEST! I love my recruiter, Miles Matern, and everyone at the company is so helpful! I wouldn't change for the world. Have been with them for almost 7 years now, and I will stay with them! 10/21/2014
