  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Was never in the ICU. Out of my entire 13 week contract I can count on 1 hand how many times i actually worked in the ICU. All the staff were really nice but I was just used and abused. Floated either to PCU or ER. Was told when I interviewed that I would not have to float but that is ALL I ever did. I was lied to! The staff there is also really unhappy and half of them are looking for a new job. I wouldn't recommend this hospital! 08/14/2015
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Camden breeze. Housing was located in city of Summerlin . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Apartment complex screwed me and are still trying to get more money out of me after I left a month and a half ago!
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Spring Valley Hospital is part of the Valley Hospital System. I was there three years ago. I liked the hospital. The staff were mostly Filipino and were very nice and fun to work with. When I was there JCAHO inspected every other month, when state and medicare inspectors were not there. It is a good hospital, but when regulators smell blood in the water. The CEO Freehof is a moron, which complicates there situation. The unit is typical with their share of sick patients, but nothing too crazy. I occasionally had three patients when things were crazy, but it was not usual and others helped out. Occasional float to PCU or take ICU patients in ER. I would recommend them. 04/01/2014
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Desert Tides. Housing was located in city of Las Vegas. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Desert Tides were timeshare at one time, I think. They turned them into furnished rentals. It was like $300 a week three years ago. Kind of run down looking, but presentable. It is across the Interstate from The Strip. That made it worth while. It was cool and safe with entry guard shack.
