  • I worked in the Med/surg department(s) in the hospital. Staff was very friendly to everyone, always answered questions with a huge willingness to help. I Floated to both units and found this to be true of both. They are very positive; hardest working and most driven CNAs I have ever worked with- they are EFFICIENT. Doctors were pleasant, on floor NP most of the time during day shift. Didn't live in the area but it seemed nice. Very flexible with scheduling. Only drawbacks: they used Cerner- once an EPIC nurse, always an EPIC nurse.. and they didn't have tube system- but they were a very small facility so not a huge deal. 06/23/2017
  • Housing was approximately 20 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was airbnb. Housing was located in city of newport beach. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I used AirBNB and lived in Newport beach as my ending contract was in that area. Commute on day shift was 30 minutes, my partner worked nights and always had an hour commute- the 55 is busy!
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. The dayshift nurses in the ICU are hostile. This hospital has a policy that they can cancel travelers once per pay period. Each pay period last for two weeks and they plan to cancel traveler every pay period to save money. They will even float a nurse from DOU to ICU in order to cancel the traveler every pay period. 05/01/2014
