  • I worked in the SICU department(s) in the hospital. I worked in the Surgical/ trauma ICU for a 1.5 years and also worked in the tele step down. The SICU is a great place for real action but gets stressful. THe nurses are good at their job and I would recommend it if you want a challenge or don't want to be bored. The parking in daytime is shuttle in, cafeteria food sucks. The population of patients are heavy literally and figuratively. Doctors are nice enough. 10/18/2016
  • Housing was approximately n/a mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was self. Housing was located in city of Houston. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. n/a
  • I worked in the Nuero-Surgical ICU department(s) in the hospital. Had a great learning experience there :) staff over-all friendly and easy to get along with. Management were decent. Happy with the scheduling procedures. Parking price was fair (considering that this is at the houston medical center) plus adequate shuttling. This is a community hospital, in my believe they are doing excellent (on the unit i worked anyway). Would highly recommend working there if you're looking for stable work environment, adequate orientation, farily organized hospital. 05/02/2014
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was n/a. Housing was located in city of Houston. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Rented a room in townhouse in the Galleria area.
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. Busy ER/Trauma Center, staff is awesome if you are good at what you do. Only downside was hospital orientation, only got 12 hours the first week and 18 the second, very tedious. Be warned, Houston traffic is a NIGHTMARE! 03/21/2014
