  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. The traffic is great even for rush hour. Lots of choices for restaurants in the region. The Silver Springs part was appealing to drive through and there is a number of groups of all ages represented in the area. 02/17/2016
    • Housing was approximately N/A mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/A. Housing was located in city of Ocala. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I stayed with friends but a number of travelers here stayed at hotels that were practically walking distance to the hospital.
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. Horrible facility with unsafe and unethical practices. The Director of the OR is clueless and this has been the most inefficient hospital that I've worked at. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone as it currently became a Level II trauma center and the hospital let alone the OR is not equipped with such advances. The morale in the department is horrible and there is no motivation to do anything but the bare minimum. The OR has lost multiple permanent staff as a result of the horrible management and there are multiple travelers within the department at all times so it almost seems like a revolving door. 07/30/2015

Do Not take an assignment at this facility unless you don't care about putting your nursing license at risk for the duties that management tries to force upon you!!

  • I worked in the cath lab/ep/ir department(s) in the hospital. Terrible, no orientation, no communication from staff, some patients lay on table 1.5 hr till md decides to do job. staff just enable each other for bad or inconsiderate behavior cant get anyone to work here due to reputation 04/02/2015
