  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. I hate to say it, but this is the worst hospital I have ever worked at. My first day my preceptor was late, they told me a patient was in my room and to not worry about it until my preceptor arrived. I went to check on the patient who was in a fib rvr and having trouble breathing with no on else in the room, no IV, and not on the monitor (I read the EKG). On other problems were when I was given a STEMI patient, no one called me, no one told me I had a patient, and there was no overhead announcement. This occurred many times. Triage would hold patients and then drop them in your room after 2-3 hours without a report or any charting. The unit manager was very unprofessional and scheduling was a nightmare. My contract said every other weekend, they scheduled me 7 or 8 weekends and it was a nightmare attempting to get it fixed. I have worked at other HCA hospitals, but this one was terrible and scary to work at as a nurse. Would not recommend. 11/26/2017
  • Housing was approximately N/A mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/A. Housing was located in city of N/A. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. I did not take the housing.
  • I worked in the MICU department(s) in the hospital. After I got to know the staff and they began to know what I was capable of the job became more bearable. The beginning of my contract was awful, I was floated almost every shift and the pt ratio in ICU was 1:3 and travelers were always tripled first. Some of the ANM's were difficult to work with because they would not help you. You really have to prove your worth to make it there otherwise you would drown 04/11/2014
