  • I worked in the Ortho/surgical department(s) in the hospital. Very traveler friendly and helpful staff. Worked 12 hour nights and was a very team oriented group of nurses and CNAs. Had a Unit Clerk at nights also. Very patient oriented hospital. This was my second travel assignment here & would go again. 04/20/2018
    • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Gulf Highlands Beach Resort. Housing was located in city of Panama City Beach, FL. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Housing was private.
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. OR Manager lied about expectations during interview and told me I would not be put into situtions I was uncomfortable with. Orientation to Dr's and procedures was almost nonexistent. Educator was on vacation when I arrived and no one knew I was coming or what to do with me. Continually scheduled for cases unfamiliar with and when stating I was uncomfortable was told do it anyway. When I refused to do Hearts (wasn't hired to do them) management then became hostile and insulting, continuously criticizing my work, my attire, my attitude. 5 years of traveling and I have never had my clinical skills called into question! Worst hospital I have worked at! 03/07/2017
    • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Corporate Rentals. Housing was located in city of Madisonville. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the Labor and Delivery department(s) in the hospital. This was my first travel assignment. I had a 13 wok contract. I work 7p-7a, I sleep during the day. As I arrived to work on my second night, I told by staff that my contract had been eliminated. I put blame partly on Supplemental health and partly on Bay Medical. Bay Medical Women's and Children's move patients from one room to another that basically when I ask about it there was never a clear answer. I told my agent that I only do labor and delivery: and I also told the nurse manager: and I told my charge nurse and staff: they looked at me like I was "stupid" Every week I tried to have a positive attitude but I love taking care of pregnant laboring patient(that is all I've done for 27 years) but the environment created a very stressful 12 hours. I could go on and on. I could never understand the computor charting or even the paper charating etc. I honestly do not have one good thing to say about this facility. I was more of a stumbling block for the staff 08/04/2016

    • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Spring valley club apartment. Housing was located in city of Panama city. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Nice clean and well maintained. People are friendly . Pool is big with nice furniture.
  • I worked in the L/D department(s) in the hospital. VERY POOR STAFFING. Staff morale very low from being worked short staffed and being denies vacation days while manager left and went on 2 week cruise. Manager refused to come in when unit swamped. Manager rude to staff members. 03/09/2015

  • I worked in the SICU department(s) in the hospital. The manager over the SICU/MICU is very erratic in her dealings with staff in general.The worst travel assignment in all my years of nursing. Some of the staff members are jealous of the travel nurses and will not help you and there is a huge good old boy attitude in the area. On the other hand there are a few nurses there that are awesome. But I would never recommend this hospital. 04/26/2012
    • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Ashley at Breakfast Point. Housing was located in city of Panama City Beach. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. The furniture was supplied by the company I was working for. It was replaced twice and still was bad. Blood stains on the mattress and the sleeper sofa I was paying extra for was thread bare and metal showing. Was replaced also twice. I was so glad to get out of this contract. AMEN!
