  • I worked in the psych department(s) in the hospital. Do NOT go to this hospital. The work is easy, but the permanent staff are hostile,rude, and lazy. They dump the heaviest load on travelers, and the units are set up based on race. It is a corrupt union environment where staff are never held accountable for any actions. Falsifying documents is just part of doing business.This place needs a good purging. Don't go with a travel company at this place. Negotiate your own contract and only work in PES. Better yet, just don't bother. 10/13/2007

    • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was San Leandro Raquetball Club. Housing was located in city of San Leandro. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3.
  • JGPP IS A PSYCH HOSPITAL. IS THE WORST PLACE TO WORK THE REGULAR DON'T WANT YOU THERE THEY LIE ABOUT YOU. THERE WAS A DOCTOR KILLED THERE AND NO ONE LOOKED OR MISS HER FOR ONE AND A HALF HOURS. SHE WAS BADLY BEATEN AND DIE ONE HOUR LATER. NURSES ARE ROUTELY HIT AND BEATEN. THEY DON'T STAY WITH THE STAFF LOAD OF FIVE. YOU CAN EXSPECT TO HAVE UPWARDS OF NINE PATIENTS.

On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I HAD TO INSIST THE I BE PUT IN THIS HOUSING COMPLEX MY (0NWARD HEALTHCARE) CO. WAS GOING TO PUT ME TWENTY MILES AWAY FROM WORK.
  • The staff forgets the California nurse ratio six to one and tries to overstep this and if any complaints they will fire you without a hearing. A doctor was murdered there by a patient. The security is bad.They are understaffed. The have a bad reputation. Their pay and accounting sucks. My checks were not accurate.

Housing was located in city of castro valley ca. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. This was a luxury apt and I loved it. It was plush and the best I have had as a traveler.The view of the San Francisco Bay was fabulous. I hated to move.
