  • I worked in the med-surge tele float department(s) in the hospital. Staff at this hospital very welcoming and helpful. There seems to be multiple travel nurses. Reasonable ratios overall. Medsurge tele unit had 6:1 ratios. Ortho-trauma unit mostly 4-5:1. Oncology 5-6:1. 02/16/2016

  • I worked in the MED/SURG/TELE department(s) in the hospital. THE MED/SURG/TELE NURSE RATIO 7:1 TOLD 5:1. ASSIGNMENT NOT MAY BY ACURITY. CHARGE NURSE UNFAIR AND FREAKING SUCK UP WHEN THEY KNOW IT IS NOT RIGHT 01/07/2015
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was HOSPITALITY HOUSE. Housing was located in city of TYLER. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. Outstanding trauma rooms! Lots of resources available at this facility. There were only a few unfriendly staff members. As a whole permanent staff was friendly and helpful. Always lots of staff available, lots of extra nurses and techs floating, however, often the extra staff sat around visiting and only helping their friends. Lots of new nurses without much experience. With that being said, staff was a little closed minded about doing anything different than the way they were taught or what they experienced. Often times I felt like staff thought I was an idiot for using different methods and having the same results. Patient volume was 180-200 patients per day. 07/10/2013
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Heritage Oaks West. Housing was located in city of Tyler. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I rented my own housing. The place was dirty. Neighbors were loud. The location was nice and convenient to a lot of things in town. It was expensive compared to other apartments. I had a leak in the AC from the ceiling and they didn't want to fix it until I moved out. The popcorn ceiling was falling down in the bathroom. The place was dirty when I moved and they expected it spotless when I moved out. The only reason I rented this place was because they would do a short term lease and allowed pets.
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was the arbours. Housing was located in city of tyler. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. 03/27/2009

  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. One of the best facilities I have worked at. Good staff, good doctors. Great area. 09/19/2007
  • Housing was approximately 8 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Dove Tree. Housing was located in city of Tyler. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Tounhouses! When we left, the complex was getting a total makeover. Looked good. Pool, fitness room, and playground area. Also, pet friendly.
