  • I worked in the ICU/DOU department(s) in the hospital. Nurses union suing over missed breaks. Very hostile work environment both from both Management and the Union side to travelers. The ICU/DOU is modern, the M/S is semi private and seems chaotic. The majority of this hospitals patients are alcoholics going through withdrawl, alcoholics with GI bleeds, alcoholics in liver failure, etc. etc. 01/11/2017
  • Housing was approximately 30 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was MORRO BAY. Housing was located in city of MORRO BAY. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. If you can find ANY housing under $2000 a month grab it!
  • I worked in the medical surgical department(s) in the hospital. this was the most unorganized place i have ever worked. everyone ran around like keystone cops. the assignments were usually split between halls. very little cna help. charts, supplies, meds, all in several different places. it was not a pleasant experience for me. forget getting much of a break besides lunch for 12 hours 02/16/2008
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was mira vista. Housing was located in city of atascadero. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. very drafty, constant construction and noise but it does have a pool and hot tub
  • I worked in the med/surg department(s) in the hospital. This is perhaps in the most beautiful area of California! Small rural hospital. Everybody was nice and friendly. I loved it and wish I could get another assignment there. The housing is about 30 miles away, but no complaints...it was a 2 bedroom beach house, fully furnished with TV,DVD, Microwave, linens, dishes, etc. BEAUTIFUL! I feel spoiled! 09/11/2007
  • Housing was approximately 30 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private house. Housing was located in city of Grover Beach. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Don't miss the Thursday night farmers market in downtown San uis Obispo. Visit some of the old California missions, and Pismo Beach has dune buggy rentals and miles of dunes.
