  • I worked in the Emergency Department department(s) in the hospital. New CNO came in during assignment and began immediate tirade on travel nurses. Constantly berated by CNO with ridiculous complaints and attempt to micro-manage all departments. ED MD who wasn't formally disciplined for using "N word" to black employee and several other employees present despite statements being written. Same MD is very reckless with patients at times to where nurses are afraid for patients and their licenses. Staff morale so poor and fear of retaliation so great that they are unable to stand up for themselves. Great non-admin and fellow staff coworkers, just terrible ran facility. They would start making monthly schedules over 1 month out and would fail to find coverage for holes till the day of and continuously change the schedule even during the current period (rumored that CNO took over schedule making). Lots of sympathy for the good staff that remain under those type of conditions. CNO is clueless about nursing since online posted resume shows past 20 years of experience with none of it even near bedside nursing. 04/11/2021
    • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was hotel. Housing was located in city of TorC. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. There's no high quality short term rentals in Truth or Consequences. Any decent accommodations are usually near Elephant Butte and their usually outrageously priced Air BnBs which means there are plenty of suckers that flock to an algae colored lake for lots of money. Even the water is not safe for pets. :/
