  • I worked in the L&D department(s) in the hospital. The area itself isn't great, but still interesting. Home of Hatfield's and McCoys feud, lots of history in the area. In 3 months time I had patients in L&D or postpartum about a quarter of the time, had one delivery on my night shift in the 3 months I was there there. Floated a lot. I actually enjoyed floating to ER, not so much the other units. Never took patients when floated, just helped pass meds, tasks, etc. The people are fantastic. Very friendly. 01/26/2021
  • Housing was approximately 21 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Devil's Backbone adventure resort. Housing was located in city of Matewan, WV. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
