  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. I was in OR for a yr. My longest assignment yet. I love the ppl they make it worth it!!! Only 2 ors with 1 gi room. Not busy and no heavy cases. Very calm and relaxed atmosphere. Mds are nice. In 1 yr they had 3 diff directors. Hospital is out in the middle of nowhere. Housing is typically in victorville or Apple valley 20+mi away. LOTS of opportunities for oncall hours. Hotel room for oncall is provided by Hospital which was AMAZING!!! GREAT GREAT 01/04/2021
    • Housing was approximately 20-30 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Furnishedfinder.com . Housing was located in city of Apple valley. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Furnishedfinder.com. its 30min from hospital which is not that bad. Make sure tank is FULL before driving to/from work. THERE IS NO HOUSING NEAR HOSPITAL!!!! unless hotels which ayers in Leawood gives hospital discount ~$73/night.
