  • I worked in the ICU/CCU department(s) in the hospital. This was an amazing experience. They are super welcoming to travelers. You rarely get the worst assignment. They're happy to have you there to help them out. You do have to go down to the ED to pick up ED admissions which was weird but the resource nurse or another RN was always eager to go down and help you. I never felt alone. If I asked for help multitple people would be there in no time. I ended up doing 2 contracts there and would stay if they still needed me, but they've oriented new staff. I would love to go back. They're only allowed to cancel you 3 times in a contract and they will put people on call before they cancel you. It's a community hospital so the patients are mostly ETOH/OD/sepsis and they'll send patients out to Providence/Boston but they do a good job. 09/17/2020
  • Housing was approximately N/A mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/A. Housing was located in city of N/A. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Not a ton of furnished places in the area. Especially hard in the summer since it's a coastal area. But you're only a few minutes from Providence and an hour from Boston so there's lots to do!
