  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. 02/04/2021
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Personal. Housing was located in city of Elkins. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Night shift here has the absolute laziest group of people I’ve ever worked with in my entire life. Day shift is okay. If you like to take smoke breaks every 30 minutes this is the perfect place for you. The nurse manager has well known favorites. These people need a reality check.
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. The area of West Virginia the hospital is in is gorgeous however the town of Elkins was terrible! Nothing to do even before COVID. ER manager is an absolute pain to deal with and has his favorites. I never had problems with the day shift for the most part but night shift didn’t want to move at all! Lazy! Also scheduling is the worst of any place I’ve been assigned. Watch your back at this place...better yet, skip it altogether! 10/24/2020
  • Housing was approximately 8 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Private. Housing was located in city of Elkins. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1.
  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. Really easy facility to work in. Patient acuity was very low. ED gets backed up easily only because doctors are slow to discharge. 1:4 nurse to patient ratio. Manager plays favorites. ED extremely well staffed however it’s made regular nurses lazy. Night shift will sit behind the charge nurse desk all night long and let you take care of all eight patients. Real lazy bunch. On the other hand it’s super easy to work if you can look past your lazy coworkers you’ll do just fine here. 09/14/2020
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Super 8 motel . Housing was located in city of Elkins . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3.
