  • I worked in the ICU/CCU department(s) in the hospital. Run...Run..Run...do not stop here! Not safe here. This is a recruit bait and switch h facility. You travelers will never work in the Critical care areas. You will be floated to med surge Tele floors with high ratios and no cna's. Most God Aweful hospital ever...and I've been an critical care nurse for over 35 years from various teaching hospitals. Centralized staffing for high hospital. You must call in to see where you are placed. The staffing office was disbanded. Extreme long hallways with you given the worse heavy confused patients assignments with high fall rates because your patients are far from each other. I had to call for code grey/violence with poor response time. I yell at ancillary staff sitting at nsg station who was reluctant to call for assistance and verbalize that or was well known for being resistant to staff and belligerent usibg foul language against staff.I was given an highly agitated patient whose history of violence against nurses known by regular staff and administrators but failed to informed me. Pt attempted to strike me when explaining new meds to him. Administrator came to patient room and spoke to them about history of abuse towards staff. That is when I found out and warn pt in front of nsg administrator that I will have them arrested for abuse. No security came to room.I told bag administrator in front of pt. I will call local police to prevent harm.I call pet's physician and put them on high alert regarding violent pt. And I will due because of known violent behavior and no security for staff. 08/08/2020
  • The name of the housing complex was Private. Housing was located in city of 5. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. San Jose has high homelessness and gang population.
