  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. This hospital is a level 1 trauma center so you had to deal with residents; the process depending on the doctor can be slow. The managers don't seem like they have their stuff together. Your schedule will be screwed up and have to follow up constantly to get it straight. Dont expect your days to be in a row. They use Cerner FirstNet its not bad but it isn't the best. The staff are young nurses and so they don't know anything but this hospital. The older staff are great. I would definitely return to this facility. There is lots to see around here and it is close to VA Beach. 05/06/2020
    • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was your own or at the airport. Housing was located in city of Norolk. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. The housing in the area is due to a medical school.. Look at Craigslist or have your company find you housing. Some travel companies put their staff at ES at the airport.
