  • I worked in the Med surg department(s) in the hospital. Petersburg is not the safest place to stay therefore I did not stay in that area. The unit I worked for was constantly understaffed. I CNA for 18 patients on night shift, no secretary. Constant admissions and I mean back to back. It was ridiculous. They were sending us non stop unstable patients from the ICU to make room and we’d have to call rapid responses and send them back. The staff on my unit was excellent. The working conditions by far have been the worst I’ve experienced. Would not recommend this hospital. 08/19/2019
    • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Air bnb . Housing was located in city of Chester. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. I travel using Airbnb’s and I usually do a private room and a bathroom and haven’t had any problems!
