  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. Small 16 bed ER well run and occasionally overstaffed. That's right overstaffed! Many shifts were only 3 patient loads. This is a Dignity hospital so they were big on orientation and getting you involved and integrated into their culture. There're several other Dignity hospitals in the Sacramento area so you could if you wanted pick up an extra shift at any one of them. I found all staff super helpful and welcoming. Good morale. Cafeteria rather small and limited hours. Food was decent. I worked mids so getting a snack mid shift was pretty much out of the question. Cerner charting and self scheduling on centricity-easy peasy- Overall a great assignment. 05/04/2019
    • Housing was approximately 35 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private residence. Housing was located in city of Elk Grove. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Elk Grove outside of Sac very safe area.
