  • I worked in the Medical Surgical department(s) in the hospital. 03/20/2019
    • Housing was approximately 40 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was airbnb. Housing was located in city of Raeford. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I would warn anyone to run from this place. While the few permanent nurses they have are pleasant to work with they can't keep them bevause they side always with egotistical and rude doctors that will belittle you in front of patients and practice antiquated medicine. One of lead day charge nurses is out to get everybody whether you work days or nights and does not do anything to help her team. The management is unprofessional, micromanaging and once they decide they dont like you watch out. Suddenly you experience schedule changes, aren't paid on time, random drug screens, and they try to find little things to complain to travel company. The floor is poorly managed and run. Layout is not awful. The unit is mainly made up of travelers (Red flag) who were talked into how great this hospital is because the travel company has an exclusive contract. It sounds ominous but seriously "You've been warned proceed at your own risk." And when I say risk I really mean risks-risk to your license, mental/emotional heath etc.:-)
  • I worked in the medical surgical department(s) in the hospital. I felt the certain doctors are back stabbers and will get you in trouble for petty things and speak to directly. It seems they favor the doctors more than nurses. They will micromanage you. Its not a place i would recommend. Unless things change and their is more teamwork and not backstabbers. 02/01/2019
