I applied to some positions and they advocated for a competitive salary when hospitals have an offer way below initial listing. My recruiter sent me other avenues that matched my take home goals frequently to ensure there were options to chose from while waiting to hear back. - Ellie Hogan is an awesome recruiter!!! So helpful and patient with me when I was all over the place looking for an assignment. Very responsive and answers back right away. I switched from Aureus to do a local contract and wasn't sure how it would go. From making a profile to accepting a contract to compliance, it was all so easy!!! - I have been a travel nurse for a long time and this is the worst company I have ever worked with. My recruiter was a fast talking used car salesman who straight lied to us several times, yelled at me over the phone on several occasions, and did his best to manipulate myself and my girlfriend at everyturn. Okay, just a bad recruiter right, not a bad company. Until I spoke with his boss who fully supported everything he had done when I explained it to her. Okay bad recruiter and bad manager. Still not necessarily a bad company. Until my girlfriend had a very bad experience with an unsafe assignment one day. She thought about quitting so she called and spoke to our recruiter as stated she needed to do. He told her she needed to fill out an incident report and talk to a clinical specialist to file a report. She did so. This "clinical specialist" proceeded to make fun of the fact that she was a first time traveler, telling her that unsafe conditions were the norm and that this is "crisis situations" despite not getting crisis pay, and then told her that, and this is a direct quote, "if you are given several sick patients at the same time you cant be held liable in court if one dies while you are caring for the other because you cant be in two places at one time." Also as a whole we were mislead or lied to about pay, benefits, the contracted hours, as well as company polcies. Dont get caught up in the hype and the shininess of the tons of jobs they have that are seemingly at high pay. 06/30/2022

- Lack of transparency and consistency. I know more about the business than I tell the agency in order to see how ethical they are (in addition to communicating frequently with fellow travelers about their pay/experience/etc) and have been disappointed with this recruiter. She’s sweet over the phone, but it’s clear that she’s either inexperienced or just plain shady as a recruiter. I’ve been an easy traveler to deal with, but am ready to walk after seeing how this agency deals with changes and communicating said changes in a consistent and fair manner. 05/24/2022

- The recruiter led me to believe all onboarding was complete and I had the green light to start assignment. The FACT was the onboarding was not complete. They stopped my start date. - After speaking with several travel nursing agencies, I chose a contract through Cameron Vaughan at Flexcare because he followed through with all of my inquiries which was very important to me as a first time traveler. Cameron stays in contact with me regularly and always returns my email and texts/calls within minutes, including evenings and weekends. Flexcare works to find appropriate assignments to meet their travelers needs, and this is done with agents spending time communicating with their travelers to learn and understand the desired components of potential contracted assignments. I’d recommend FlexCare to every traveler, and specifically my agent Cameron Vaughan who repeatedly demonstrates his commitment to ensure my satisfaction in my selected traveling assignments. - Eugene Shim is my contact with Flexcare. She is completely awesome! I need some hand holding as I navigate the world of travel nursing and she has done exactly that. She calls and sees where I am at with things and informs me what I need to do next. She is quick to lock in the next deal as soon as possible so I don't have to worry about where I'm going next. I started my travel career with her and plan on staying with her. When it comes down to corporate matters, I don't know much. Prior to signing a contract with Rob, I did talk to several other travel nursing recruiters and non of them told me half of the things that Rob did. Rob was knowledgeable and honest. He told me how things were, not what I wanted to hear. He is excellent at his job. He keeps tabs on you when necessary but does not overload you with texts/emails. - I would definitely recommend Flexcare and my recruiter Taylor Steffan. I've found that Flexcare is one of the higher paying agencies and they have a good selection of job choices. What I liked most about my recruiter, Taylor, is that when I wanted a specific state she didn't try to pressure me to go elsewhere, which other recruiters have done in the past. - I been traveling for over four years and I had great experiences with multiple different agencies. My worst experiences were with Flexcare Medical Staffing. I would warn nurses to not work with Flexcare Medical Staffing Company. I had many bad experiences with this company. They lost two contracts with two different hospitals and, they lied about the reasons. I ended up working directly with the first hospital system they lost the contract and work per-diem for higher pay. The agency didn't want to pay for canceled contract. I gave them a second chance and, the second contract they lost in the middle of signing the contract and I was offered and I accepted the job offered. I was glad I didn't sign with this agency because they wanted me to sign a contract with major missing information. Lastly, I found the same job offer a few days later with another agency and they were paying $700 more a week. I would never work with this company again or refer any travel nurse to this company. This company use to be a good agency but its going downhill.

- Probably the biggest factor in a travel nurse/recruiter relationship is whether or not he/she really has your best interest in mind. As a travel nurse, you have to be selfish at times and do what is best for you, fortunately, working with Tagen Davis is easy in that realm because she is always looking for the best options for YOU as well. 02/12/2020

- As a first time traveling nurse, I had no idea what to expect or really what to look for in an agency. I was referred to Jennifer Dempsey at Flexcare from a friend, who is also a travel nurse. I could not have asked for a better recruiter. She gave me all the information that I asked and needed, was totally accessible, easy to talk to, and made the whole process so manageable. - I have worked with Flexcare for almost a year now and they have been great. The only complaint I have with Flexcare is that when I asked about housing for an assignment they were not very helpful. I typically take the stipend anyway, however, in this particular area it is difficult to find housing and I was told to "look on sites like Facebook" which I do not have. Other than that the pay rates have been on par with other agencies. My recruiter Heather Bierwirth is outstanding. She has worked incredibly hard to find jobs for me. I've been a nurse for 6 years and was getting burned out working in the ICU. Other companies pushed me to continue to work in the ICU/PACU because it was easier for them to find me jobs. Heather was on top of it and found jobs for me when others ignored my requests. The job I have now (in clinic, which I love!) was actually subcontracted through a company I was already working with as well. They failed to mention this job to me, but Heather jumped on it and got me in. I am so thankful for her hard work and dedication. I am now enjoying my job and life much more because she was willing to listen and take time out for me. She is always gently reminding me of deadlines and checks in to make sure I am doing OK. I feel like I am treated as an individual with Flexcare rather than just a money maker. 11/15/2019

- Jen Dempsey told me from day one she would give her all to her recruits and she has never let me down. She stuck with me (for a year) while I decided when the right time was to travel nurse and when that time came she was a rockstar and was ALWAYS available. She is very on top of her game and accommodating. She set up appointments for me within minutes, had me submitted to jobs within an hour of my licenses coming in. - I worked for them back in 2015 I was a newbie. And I really needed to work for the best pay. My recruiter was Denea. I was put in an assignment where I wasn’t familiar with the computer system and although I had at least 20 years experience and working in a fast paced orthopedic unit would normally be a piece of cake. However I was only given 1 day to learn a very NON user friendly computer system CERNER which caused me to look incompetent due to struggling with the admits & dc’s in the computer. And instead of the facility giving me a couple more days to learn the computer system, they tried moving me to SNU units which didn’t help anything! I tried talking to the manager, however the very cliquey staff had already gotten to her and I guess said I couldn’t cut it. I never had a chance. And instead of supporting me my agency only listened to the hospital and of course my contract was cancelled. I have since learned Dialysis and since Flexcare had such a good reputation I had stayed in contact with the recruiter Denea and the 1st time I contacted her she said they didn’t do Dialysis which was about a year ago, and then I recently contacted Denea again and she was quite rude and said she doubted they would ever use me again. I know there are 2 sides to every story, but my resume and references are excellent. As well as my work ethic. And since this company gets such good reviews I thought it was important to put this out there. And my last review was obviously removed. Luckily I have found multiple excellent companies and recruiters to meet my needs. So I hope none of you gets into a position where you need support from these guys because I think they are more worried about their ratings than anything. Even though the pay was good. I feel Denea is very fake and unforgiving. As well as her superiors. So I’m going to try to give a fair score on the things that they did do. But PAY isn’t everything. So be sure you ask your recruiter if they will support you if you get into a situation that requires help . 08/09/2019

- I was sent on an assignment in a lg city. Don’t want to name names because I don’t want to be scrutinized. But I was thrown into a medsurg assignment not in area I was comfortable. Then they told me I would be using epic computer system, that’s not what happened. The hospital used cerner, which I had no knowledge of! I had only 1 day to learn this system and it not user friendly. On top of that I was put on an orthopedic unit which was very fast paced and it made me look bad. Needless to say I lost my contract! No support from FLEXCARE! They are great until you get in a rough spot then you’re thrown to the dogs. I will never use them again! Don’t let their ratings fool ya. 07/23/2019

If I ever have an issue with an assignment, Kristina (my one point of contact with Flexcare) will be ready to assist!
Flexcare is a great organization to work along side. They allow one point of contact, so yes...you do not need to call three people to get your pay worked out. You don’t have to rely on an account manager to call you for an assignment. With Flexcare, you talk with an incredibly knowledgable recruiter who looks into ALL your questions for you!!!

- I have worked with Geoff Krieger since September of last year. At the time I was not ready to start travel nursing quite yet but Geoff continued to check in with me and when the time was right he started sending me possible assignments. I have since then started my first assignment as a travel nurse. Geoff is always available whenever I have questions and concerns. If he doesn’t know the answer right at the moment he will find it. He continues to check in to make sure everything is going well with me and the assignment. He has been a great help and so far Flexcare has definitely lived up to their promises. 04/08/2019

I knew I made the right decision after my first phone conversation withTaylor Steffan. - It was recommended to use FlexCare by a traveler I met randomly in Seattle. After not having the greatest assignments with other agencies I tried I gave FlexCare a call. Quang "Q" Phan is an amazing recruiter. The amount of work he put in and options he gave me was astouding.
