  • I worked in the N5 department(s) in the hospital. If you want to be a float nurse without the extra pay, go here. Floated often as the unit staff RNs always float travelers fist. No sense of belonging to a unit or being part of the team. 05/12/2018
  • Housing was approximately 22 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Apartments at Salisbury. Housing was located in city of Midlothian. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. beautiful complex, but like all of them around the area, cost of living is high
  • I worked in the CCU department(s) in the hospital. 1/2017-5/2017 I was in the CCU, Great staff and Docs. Their NP is highly educated and runs that unit. They were very traveler friendly. The Residents they have on night shift are 3rd years and awesome. I was their only traveler at the time and they were always fair to me and I felt very welcome. You will actually get ICU level patients which is nice. They do get some overflow from CVICU, Neuro ICU, Medical and Trauma ICU. Charting they use is Cerner. Trying to park at this hospital on Dayshift is very hard. More than likely you will have to park and take a shuttle in unless you live in Church Hill and can bike to the hospital 02/05/2018
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Craigslist in Malvern Gardens. Housing was located in city of Richmond. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. AirBnb is overpriced in Richmond. You could find affordable housing in Richmond on Craigslist. (I had a furnished room in a house with a roommate with a shared bath for 800$ a month) Great areas to live in are: Carytown, Museum District, Scotts Addition, the Fan (street parking), The West End, certain parts of Church Hill (if you don't go too far in), Certain parts of Manchester (again if you don't venture too far away from the city) Don't live in the Northside or Mosby Court and be very selective in Church Hill
