  • I worked in the CVICU department(s) in the hospital. Hospital policy has travelers floating before staff. If not specified in contract which units you will float to, you will become a resource pool nurse for the hospital across the street at LMC West. When interviewing for the position you will be told that you will be landing fresh hearts but your nights will be spent caring for "tele patients". I never received a hard copy schedule; all scheduling is done thru KRONOS; travelers have no access. You hope your on the schedule to work. Not traveler friendly. Would definitely take a contract at LMC West on the 7th floor ICU. Very traveler friendly and you get to actually practice your skills as a seasoned ICU nurse and not stare at a clock for twelve hours. Based on what I was told in the interview and my actual work experience I would not recommend the Heart Hospital as a place to take a contract. 11/20/2017
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Extended Stay. Housing was located in city of Albuquerque. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
