- I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. This facility is a half-and-half facility. Half the people are nice, fun, good to work with. Half are a god forsaken nightmare of petty, backbiting nonsense. This includes doctors, APNP, and other nurses. Management acts like micromanaging you is doing you a favor and makes no bones about being outright rude & disrespectful to you.
I was given two 5-day runs in the time I stayed there, and worked literally every single holiday (Thanksgiving, Xmas, etc.) without complaint. I took every DT / admit no problems. Never late, never left early. I called out on two non-holiday days when I twisted my knee and mgt acted like I personally slighted them and deliberately deprived them of what they so richly deserved out of me.
Had GREAT experience with some of the staff, and the charges & resources are great when mgt isn't pushing them to abuse & hound you. I highly recommend you check other facilities in the area first. 01/09/2018
Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was home. Housing was located in city of Manchester. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Good housing around the area! - I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Rude, rude , rude staff! Very negative attitude from at least 75% of the staff. Very cliquish staff.my patients were great people, along with their families also. Staff talks over you, in mid sentence. Interrupt you while speaking. Oh! And the management is SUPER micromanagy; both with staff and travelers. There are some great staff and NP’s along with critical care docs, however they are very few. I felt nothing but relief after this assignment. Experienced human beings unlike any other. 11/11/2017
