  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. The facility was very good for a first time traveler. They went from Logicare to Epic EMR. Very busy small hospital. Staffing was generally tight, but that's expected if they need travelers. There's resources available and staff is extremely helpful and nice. 01/15/2021
    • Housing was approximately 25 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Airbnb. Housing was located in city of Manchester. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Difficult to find affordable pet-friendly housing nearby, but I was able to find some in Manchester. Fairly straightforward 30 minute drive into town.
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. New Hampshire ranks in the top 5 worst states for drug abuse and drug addiction and I gave more narcotics to patients in my 13 week contract versus the past year of traveling at other facilities. When the topic is brought up, some of the doctors get pissy your questioning them. EMR is horrible, made by a trucking company and does not link to the pharmacy or Pyxis. The hospital uses 6 or more different EMR’s and none connect to each other. Most staff were great, just seriously short handed with aides. 10/13/2019
    • Housing was approximately 11 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Field and Stream RV park. Housing was located in city of Brookline NH. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I had my camper and it was the closest RV park around. Very nice, but expensive, safer then living in Nashua though. Good restaurants nearby.
  • I worked in the Operating Room department(s) in the hospital. A community hospital with a family type of atmosphere and the OR managers are accessible and even pitch in when needed. Most of the surgeons are very nice and professional. Plenty of free parking on hospital grounds. Picis charting in the OR, Soarian in the hospital. Nashua is a great city with plenty to do and lots of great places to eat. Nashua even has it's own professional baseball team and is only about an hour away from the beaches and Boston. 10/22/2017
    • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Residences at Daniel Webster. Housing was located in city of Merrimack. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. A Residence Inn type of place with restaurant and outdoor pool. Free coffee in the lobby. They will collect mail for you. Wi-Fi can be a little weak during peak hours. It's better to get a place on one of the upper floors of the buildings. Staff is very friendly. Furnished studio apartments go for $1750 a month. Pay $25 for housekeeping. Plenty of parking.
