  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. This is a really small town. I stay almost an hour away on a lake, I would certainly not stay here. Nothing to do, not particularly safe. The hospitalists at this hospital are very concerning. They are neither confident nor competent. It's very frustrating and stressful to feel like you can't do a good job because of horribly poor treatment plans from physicians. Often times they don't even have a true plan for patients. This really should be an intermediate care unit, other than a levophed drip maybe once a month, and 1 vent in the two months I've been here it's pretty low acuity. When asked where I could view/access nursing or facility policies I was asked why I wanted to know and never actually told where these were located. I'm not entirely sure anyone at this hospital knows what the policies are- it's a disaster. 10/05/2017
