  • I worked in the Tele, Stepdown, Med/surg, CDU, Med/surg/onc, burn, neurotrauma department(s) in the hospital. Not too bad. Lots of residents so when patient has resident you have easy access to MD. Other doctors dont answer at night so make sure ED gives you orders at night for admits. Never had more than 5 patient on medical floor although Hurley has some major craziness involved but RN are chill and cool (mostly). If you are stay in Flint, Flint town ship is safer. Also they have a rapid RN so when you have concerns about you patient you can call him/her and he will come with his cart and have a ton of standing orders. Be prepared to draw your own labs if your on a tele or higher acuity floor at night. Not general floor though. 01/28/2019
    • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Rental house. Housing was located in city of Flint Township. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Very humble accommodations
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. Morale is so bad that it unfortunately affects the travelers morale since everyone is on edge all the time.. There didn't seem to me much team work it is every man for themselves 09/18/2017
