  • I worked in the tele department(s) in the hospital. What the previous rater commented about micromanagement is spot on. Staff is recruited to nit pick charting, and will do so before you even have the opportunity to chart to begin with. The staffing office seems to be clueless many times, and if on nights, the day you are scheduled to work is the day after.. and they give set schedules. For example: schedule says you will work every Sunday, you will actually be working every Saturday night. 06/17/2017
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was didn't take housing. Housing was located in city of San Rafael. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Did not take housing.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. They hire ICU nurses to float around the hospital. You can get floated 2-3 times a shift. I worked less than 10 times in the ICU the entire 13 week contract. Manager and staff micro manages everything. Staff will check your charting in the middle of the shift and remind you to chart what you haven't charted yet. Manager watched me give report then told me all the things she thinks I did wrong and was telling me word for word how I should give report. I think she was trying to turn me into a robot. Nurses on tele are not very helpful. Still can't figure out what exactly the CNAs do. 04/28/2017
