  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. Staff was nice, management was friendly and accessible, work load was doable. A majority of the charge nurses were great and were an excellent resource but there were a few I would definitely question their ability. It's always neat to see how different places do things and Del Webb had some great ideas. I prefer to be closer to the action in the bigger cities and Del Webb was located in the burbs. Enjoyed my assignment for the most part. 04/13/2020
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was La Borgata. Housing was located in city of Surprise Az. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. The pool was not working for the majority of my stay, paid extra for a nice heated pool and no compensation was given for the broken pool heater or when they shut down for Covid. It was too costly, I would advise others to save their money and look elsewhere.
  • I worked in the med/surg tele float department(s) in the hospital. Floated between 3 units. Mainly was on the oncology unit. Great unit by the way! Staff was great on this unit as well as on the tele unit. Didn't care for the med/surg unit (5B?). Parking was easy. Use Cerner for charting. No cafeteria open for night shift. Patients weren't bad. Hospital in a good area. RN ratio typically 1:6. Not a bad hospital as long as the staff is there to help esp the charge RN. 01/10/2018
  • Housing was approximately 12 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Vue Park West Apts. Housing was located in city of Peoria. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Good housing. Found spare room listing on craigslist.
  • I worked in the Surgical department(s) in the hospital. If I could have, I would have taken a full time position here. I may go back. Definitely will go back as a Traveller if possible! 04/23/2017
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Canyon Ridge Apartments. Housing was located in city of Surprise. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Beautiful apartment complex, lovely apartment. Not for short term. Was too expensive for 3 months. Did allow my dog though.
