  • I worked in the PCU department(s) in the hospital. I worked at UCSD back and forth for over a year. Definitely one of my favorite places to work. La jolla campus is great. The staff at UCSD are extremely helpful and are fair to travelers. I learned a lot of great skills working here. 09/02/2019
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was airbnb. Housing was located in city of san diego. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the Special Procedures/GI department(s) in the hospital. I was new to GI, but had a strong background in sedation and critical care. Most of the doctor's are rude to new staff "he doesn't like new people" or "it's just how he is". Other than the new procedures/equipment/etc, it was mind-numbingly boring. Longest 13 weeks of my life. Lots of travelers at both campuses, most had better experiences than I did. I spent probably half of my shift calling patients before and after their procedure. Parking is a nightmare and costs $83/mo and will be a 10-15 min walk from the hospital. 11/30/2016
  • Housing was approximately 26 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/A (stayed with family). Housing was located in city of Escondido. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
