  • I worked in the Acute care department(s) in the hospital. This community hospital is amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Patient load is partially acute care and partially swing-bed rehab. PT is great, MDs are great, pharmacy is great. Day shift rounds are with the whole team and everyone is on the same page. Cannot recommend this hospital enough. 04/23/2019
  • Housing was approximately 50 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was commuted. Housing was located in city of Waynesville. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the Acute Care department(s) in the hospital. Small town with lots of charm. Everyone was so helpful. Most often there were not a lot of patients on the unit so the ratios were great. I had just left a very stressful assignment and this was a wonderful escape from that. There isn't a way to call a rapid response or IV team but the ER staff is available and very helpful should you have the need. The town and surrounding areas are quaint, the national parks area breathtaking. 06/16/2016
  • Housing was approximately 20 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Mi Mountain campground. Housing was located in city of Franklin. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Found my own housing, we use an RV. No RV parks in Highlands exactly. The campground was very friendly and quiet. Mostly full-timers.
