  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. This was my first hospital that I went to and it was a great facility. The stuff there was very nice and knowledgeable and the doctors treated you with respect and made you right at home. Tom the Manager was a great guy. We (my travel companion and I) went with fastaff so we did 48 hour weeks do did 1900-0700 shifts. Some weeks were bad in that it was off one day on one day. But we got through it. Boston was about 30 miles south but in traffic it could take you about 45 mins to over an hour to get there. If driving in and are able to get a EZ Pass and they have a customer service center that is open STOP and get a transponder. It will be well worth your time and trouble. Everything takes tolls in MA and in a lot of the country. Yes it's been a while since I've done an assignment up there but I have stuff hospital friends that still work there and they say not much has changed. Not even the cold snowy winters. So much to see it will cost you some money but well worth it. 09/11/2017
  • Housing was approximately 8.6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Towneplace Suites Boston North Danvers. Housing was located in city of Danvers. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Very close to everything. They had an upscale mall, Costco, 15 min drive to the hospital, walking distance to Planet Fitness, the hotel was very accommodating to us. Had morning breakfast. Accepted pets.
  • I worked in the Operating Room department(s) in the hospital. This is a small community hospital that has 8 operating rooms. The staff was phenomenal and we got along great! The initial orientation was confusing between HR and the unit and where everyone thought I was supposed to be. Overall the work easy and the staff was great! 08/24/2017
  • Housing was approximately 12 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was airbnb. Housing was located in city of Pasadena. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Housing is hard to come by. There's not really anything close to the hospital that is safe and it's very expensive being close to LA. I would recommend the hospital but not the area.
  • I worked in the PACU department(s) in the hospital. Free parking 07/28/2017
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Extended stay . Housing was located in city of Peabody . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Used extended stay and Beverly garden suites. Both a bit pricey.
  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. Okay staff in the ED, a little cliquey but warmed up a bit once they get to know you. Definitely got treated as an outsider though. Nice doctors, well-run hospital. Great part of MA, lots to do on days off. I have a camper so did not have to worry about housing (which is expensive). 06/14/2017
  • Housing was approximately na mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was na. Housing was located in city of na. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. No other details to provide.
  • I worked in the Labor and Delivery department(s) in the hospital. I felt very welcome here and liked the staff so much that I extended my contract 3 times. The North Shore area has a lot to do and is very close to Boston. Most of the doctors and midwives are very nice, but there are always a few bad apples. OK maybe a couple of rotten apples, but these nurses are absolutely the best! 05/17/2016
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was a house I found on Airbnb. Housing was located in city of Marblehead. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I found my own housing but travelers who were placed in housing in Salem seemed satisfied. There is an extended stay facility two towns over that people were unhappy with. It is used as housing overflow for the town it is in.
