  • I worked in the L&D department(s) in the hospital. I want to start bysaying the staff at this unit was exceptionally supportive and really working as a team, however they were always short staffed and was forced by mangement to cancel on slow nights sometimes leaving 5 nurses to run a 17 labor bed, 4 triage, 4 or unit and staff an antepartum floor. With the option of calling nurses in if needed. Even with the bad staffing I still enjoyed this assignment due to the welcoming and supportive attitude of the staff I never felt alone or left out to dry, and they really came together during emergencies. 05/07/2016
    • Housing was approximately 24 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was 1636 irving street rahway. Housing was located in city of Rahway. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Apartments near the hospital were very expensive for short term so I had to venture out a bit for this place. A 30 minute drive on average without traffic this apartment included utilities, cable, internet, and had coin ooerated laundry services in the building. I had a covered space and the surrounding area is very nice with lots to do.
