- I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. As an ICU traveller, you will float a lot. The floor staff are pretty friendly though. I spent a small amount of time in my unit. You are floated to PCU (5 or 4:1 Ratio), Medical (5:1), Surgical (5:1), and HVU (4:1). 12/30/2019
Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Private Airbnb.. Housing was located in city of Longview, Tx. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I used AirBnb for housing. Here is the link to the options for my airbnb. https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/135542918 - I worked in the Sterile Processing department(s) in the hospital. Pretty area. Smallish town. Super high crime rate....15 murders last year, none solved. Hospital was clean. The Sterile Processing staff was awful. Racist, religious nut cases. I am white and Jewish and was disrespected in every way possible. Four travelers that started after me all left before their contracts were over. Terrible place to work. 04/26/2016
Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Sunnybrook Apt. Housing was located in city of Longview. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. "Corporate" housing. No microwave, cable, Internet, drapes, dishes, furniture, washer, dryer....nothing. Obviously they have no idea what corporate housing means. Parking was decent and the apt. Was clean.
