- I worked in the CCFP department(s) in the hospital. They floated traveler RNs as helping hands, which is just a fancy term for nursing assistant or sitter. the last 7 weeks of my contract, that is the only role I did. 02/25/2021
Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Harriet Ave. Housing was located in city of Minneapolis. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I found my housing on airbnb. They got in touch with me because the unit was not ready yet, and we independently signed a housing agreement. The landlord has been amazing and has been very accomodating to me. - I worked in the IR department(s) in the hospital. The IR department has a nurse manager who has never worked in IR. She has no idea what is going on. Plus she calls out AT LEAST once a week. The two older charge nurses manipulate her into doing thing they way they want things done. The kicker.. these nurses dont agree with how things should be done. The doctors complain about nursing management. No floor to IR report pts just show up for procedures. 08/28/2020

I found my own housing using air bnb - I worked in the ASU department(s) in the hospital. I was lied on, berated and then they breached the contract. They said I couldn’t identify and treat dysrhythmias without any evaluation of me and cancelled. I lost over 14,000 dollars and there’s nothing I can do about it. I rented a room from a family - I worked in the Cath Lab department(s) in the hospital. I helped out in the cath lab for this contract and ended up extending a total of 6 months in 2015. The staff in the cath lab are great. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and upbeat to work with. Their manager, Sarah, was great as well. 04/21/2016
Housing was approximately 0.1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Apartment complex across the street. Housing was located in city of Minneapolis. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Housing is expensive. The area around the hospital is known as a "bad neighborhood" with shootings and stabbings happening more frequently then I would like to admit. I never had any issues living across the street from the hospital as I am a strong, young, single female with a resting face that alerts pedestrians that I could have an attitude problem. I would not recommend it to families or other single women who may be shy and unable to defend themselves if an instance were to arise. Most of the staff live in the suburbs of Minneapolis and have no housing issues.
