  • I worked in the Float department(s) in the hospital. Wow where do I start? What a complete disaster. Surprised this place has not been shut down. Filthy and complete lack of organization. Management focused on all the wrong things and make your job way more complicated than it needs to be by adding a bunch to miscellaneous repetitive tasks to your workload that serve no purpose. Paper and computer charting. Worse form of Cerner, must of got it half off at the software store. Only met one nice doctor. The rest would hang up in your face and talk down to you in a condescending manner. Hospital is for profit and prioritize money in their pockets over patient care. Equipment run down. Half the vitals machines only work when plugged in and are missing parts. Plus they use the same dirty cuffs on everyone instead of having disposable ones for each patient. They opened up a new unit downstairs called Tassajara before it was ready in an old part of the hospital. Dirty carpet floors in patient rooms..gross. Call lights not working, broken blinds, no TVs in rooms, broken ac and heat. Neglected by housekeeping. Spent most of my shift apologizing to angry patients and family members about things not my fault. Orientation was horrible. They pulled me out early to work and after being on night shift a month had me go back during the day when i,m usually sleeping to hear guest speakers and finish classroom orientation. They let patients and family abuse staff and will not have your back. More worried about looking money than the safety of their employees. 03/30/2016
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Avana. Housing was located in city of Dublin. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Expensive but nice
