  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. This is an HCA hospital and while they're not, all the same, this one was dollar driven, time pushing in true fashion. There are resignations from permenent staff daily. And, if they're not leaving, they're talking about leaving or transferring to a different dept. They use an antiquated, outdated, archaic EMAR called Meditech that's not intuitive. The Docs, PAs and NPs are great, friendly, funny and nice. Like many travel situations, if you don't fit in, you're gone. No real explanation. Being the trauma center in the area, they get EVERYTHING. They're not allowed to say no, whether they have the staffing or not. All other hospitals in the area sends this hospital their crap. Mostly you'll see a lot of senior citizens that fall, ETOH withdrawal and psych patients. If you're looking for diversity. SKIP this place. 10/18/2018
  • Housing was approximately 000 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was IDK. Housing was located in city of IDK. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. I didn't live in any housing in the area. I did an Airbnb about a half an hour away.
  • I worked in the echocardiography department(s) in the hospital. Do not work here under any circumstances. Toxic environment. All travelers here, and management is willing to fire you without just cause. 04/12/2016
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Housing was located in city of Portsmouth. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Expensive housing.
  • I worked in the CVICU department(s) in the hospital. Absolutely loved the nursing staff in the ICU. Never dreaded going to work knowing that I would have fun. Critical Care MDs left a lot to be desired and we're not the best at considering the recommendations of the nursing staff. 03/10/2016
