  • I worked in the Med Surg department(s) in the hospital. Charge nurse live audited charting, people were getting phone calls from her at least hourly..multiple times I had to say I haven’t hit the enter button yet..what you are seeing/not seeing will be updated when I am DONE charting. Charting took priority over pt care. Their huddle consisted of everyone saying their patients’ bed alarms status..that was it. Their attempt at morale boosting was reading years old memes from the internet, no real “good job this shift even tho we were short staffed” or maybe reading from patient hand written compliments that were handed in. Any attempt at critical thinking or proactive actions are swatted down. One traveler summed it up: “I can’t wait to go elsewhere and be a NURSE again! 02/08/2020
    • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Crown Win River. Housing was located in city of Tulsa. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Very quiet, modern, clean! Great place!
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. Made sure travelers received the worst cases and nastiest surgeons. You expect some of this everywhere you travel, but this Hosp takes it to a whole diff level. The staff is actually overheard saying, "I don't want to do that--make one of the travelers do it" on multiple occasions. I dreaded every day there. 01/14/2016
    • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Had RV. Housing was located in city of Tulsa. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Other travelers were housed in apartment complex on west side of town by the river with bad criminal history. Called "west___?" They were fearful even walking in the apt parking lot.
