  • I worked mainly in the MICU/Neuro ICU with some floating to CVICU and ER. Staff was very friendly and helpful on nightshift. The manager was nice and easy to communicate with. The MICU has lots of staffing needs so there is a lot of 3:1 patient loads currently however you can work as much OT as desired. PAs and NPs on unit 24/7 were a major plus, very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to any traveler that needs a good OT contract. 02/25/2019
    • Housing was approximately N/a mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/a. Housing was located in city of N/a. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. I found my own housing through Airbnb.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. The hospital is unionized with a lot of staff resentment to travelers. Travelers are first to float and staff flat out say that travelers will receive the hardest assignments because they deserve it. Management does not stick up for travelers which does not help the overall feeling staff has towards travelers. The doctors are great, very respectful to all nurses and all do their job as expected. I do not plan to come back here as I was told by a staff nurse that she, along with other staff try to make travelers fail so that management will quit bringing in travelers. 10/15/2015
    • Housing was approximately 7 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Park square apt. Housing was located in city of Orchard Park. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I chose to find my own housing for muskeg and a dog and cat. There was no options that allowed short term, animals and reasonably priced.
