  • I worked in the Tele/pcu/ float department(s) in the hospital. Most of the staff hate travelers, complain in front of you how all travels are "dumb asses and should be fired". The staff complain in every unit about the hospital and their jobs. It's an old school catholic hospital, we can't use any of our skills, and no one knows ACLS or stroke except the SWAT nurses who are all as arrogant as the Drs. You are a glorified waitress. 06/15/2017
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Ardenwood Apts. Housing was located in city of North Haven. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the ICU float department(s) in the hospital. I was an ICU float but this is FALSE. They only hired me to float me to lower level units. I was ICU about 1-3x/month sometimes for only 4 hours. 70% of the time you will float after 4 hours. Though, I didn't quit because the units are nice and I was only given 4 patients. They do staff sufficiently for my experience and with techs. I worked at night and parked across the street but it is expensive. The cafeteria is closed at night so you have to bring or buy your own food prior. 10/18/2016

  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Was pulled to med surg frequently but was well taken care of by my boss. Never taking more than 4 patients on med surg. 03/11/2016
  • Housing was approximately 60 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private housing. Housing was located in city of Waterford. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. We chose to live further away from New Haven to be close to water d/t to having kids. Loved!
  • I worked in the icu department(s) in the hospital. They hired me to work Icu with occasional floating but floated with occasional Icu. They will float you all the time, sometimes twice in one shift. 05/30/2015
  • Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Na. Housing was located in city of Na. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I got my own housing
