  • I worked in the Med tele department(s) in the hospital. The down town "old town" area is a super place to go and sit outside and get some lunch or dinner. Walmart is close enough. 05/08/2018
    • Housing was approximately 7 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Candlewood suites. Housing was located in city of Winchester. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. The stools are awful to sit in. they were good about getting my work days scheduled in a row.
  • I worked in the Surg Tele department(s) in the hospital. Unit has an amazing group of nurses & techs that will welcome you with open arms and help you with anything you need, but I can't promise that they will still be there because the burnout is high and the turnover is constant. 7 patients is the routine on nights, 6 on days. There is no nurses desk to sit and chart at, staff is stuck out in the hallway and management expects you to either stand for the entire 12 hour shift or use these pull out stools that can only be described as Satan's chairs. I wasn't given access to their online scheduling system, and they did a fantastic job of grouping my night shifts together as requested, but twice my schedule was changed without anyone notifying me. I learned to check the paper schedule in the charge nurses office every shift. Parking garage is free and has a covered walkway which is nice in bad weather. 10/23/2017

  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. Excessive micro managing, scrub techs trying to tell the circulator how to do his/her job. No sense of humor. Ancillary staff having power trips. Lazy coworkers that won't help turn rooms over. Would not return to this facility. 03/08/2017

  • I worked in the CRNA department(s) in the hospital. Not a very friendly or welcoming atmosphere. Been here a few months and staff does not go out of their way to make a smooth transition for traveling nurses. I am anxious for my next assignment. 03/24/2015
