  • I worked in the M/S ICU department(s) in the hospital. Would highly recommend traveling to this facility. Great pay, great breaks, and great assignments. Staff is also wonderful here and really enjoyed working with the UCSF team! For a full UCSF hospital review, more on SF and our travel experience visit out blog at 01/11/2018
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was San Francisco RV Resort. Housing was located in city of Pacifica. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. We live in an RV and thought living in Pacifica to be you best bet. Much cheaper and only 20 minute commute to work and/or city.
  • I worked in the CVICU department(s) in the hospital. The hospital is very welcoming to travelers and the nursing ratio is the best I have seen in all hospitals I have worked in. It is a teaching hospital so there is a learning curve with the hierarchy of residents. Less nursing autonomy because it is a teaching hospital, but you're also expected to know if the doctors are making questionable decisions. Parking is very expensive. About $30 each shift during the week. But public transportation is plentiful in this area. I live outside of the city which is what most people do. San Francisco is beautiful and the hospital is very close to the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. 01/21/2016
