  • I worked in the Med-Surg department(s) in the hospital. Upper management terrible. Orientation for travelers terrible. Friendliness of physicians was much better than anywhere else I have been too. Co-workers were average with the more time spent there the better they were to travelers. Won't forget some of my co-workers there and most of the physicians. 04/30/2020
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was got my own housing. Housing was located in city of Osage Beach. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I found my own housing which was difficult to do in such small towns around there. The good thing was my drive was 10 minutes or less to get to work. I just would not recommend this hospital to any other travelers.
  • I worked in the Medical department(s) in the hospital. The hospital itself is older and could use a face lift. It's layout is a little awkward and it took me a while to figure it out enough to know where I was going. The administration staff were traveler friendly and most of the staff RNs were as well, with a few that took some warming up. The technology was adequate. Patient ratio was on the higher side of what I've been used to with day shifts consistently taking 6 patients. They are the only hospital for the entire Lake area and so they take all ages from newborns-geriatric. The area itself is an older lake community. If you go during the shoulder seasons (right before and after summer) you'll get a chance to enjoy the lake. During the summer though it appears to be just a party town all through out the lake. There are some neat places to visit like Tatonka Cave, The Mansion and other great hiking. But the lake itself is kinda yucky...I didn't venture into the water myself. But the views and sunsets/rises every morning are great! 01/03/2015
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Private housing-VRBO. Housing was located in city of Osage Beach. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I traveled with my 5 children and 2 dogs so we ended up across the lake about a 40 min drive from the hospital, but that was my choice. There was plenty of acceptable housing just in the town where the hospital was at. VRBO had the best options. (VRBO.com)
