  • I worked in the pacu department(s) in the hospital. this or/pacu has not a clue about standards of care - woefully inadequate, only luck seems to stand between the facility and sentinel events. beware all who wish to practice there 04/14/2015
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Town and Country. Housing was located in city of roswell. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. provided my own housing
  • I worked in the Peds department(s) in the hospital. This hospital is SO small - the peds "unit" is actually just six beds at the end of the L&D/OB unit. Only one peds RN on staff per shift; and your support staff are the two L&D nurses down the hall. As far as the other units go, ER is busy and sees lots of interesting things [good place to work]. Med/Surg and ICU are pretty standard, and then there's also Sunrise (Psych)[stay away!]. Roswell NM is only known for aliens/UFO sighting back in the day. There's all the basics: Walmart, Target, a few clothing stores, and lots of chain restaurants. If you're looking for things to do, drive to Ruidoso or Albuquerque (1 hr and 3 hrs respectively). Carlsbad Caverns is also a cool place to visit. 10/24/2014
  • Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Christa Lee Manor Apts. Housing was located in city of Roswell. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Nice apt with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer in unit, and bedroom with walk-in closet. Pool available June - Sept. Quiet set of buildings, no rowdy kids having parties or loud conversations outside. Parking available off the street; not covered.
