  • I worked in the medical ICU department(s) in the hospital. I had the pleasure of working 18 weeks in the medical ICU in Pineville. Some of the sweetest and most caring girls. (the unit was a little lacking in the male genes during my time)Everyone was so willing to help with questions I had while I got familiarized, they are very fair to travelers- with staffing and with scheduling. I would definitely recommend the hospital system. Their ICU isn't super acute in treatments but they provide very safe care and have great resources in place. Clean and safe environment. I lived downtown about 20 miles away from Pineville and it's definitely where you'll find the most happening there. Both AIRbnb and apartment sites have lofts at 626 graham building, met another traveler there in fact! Places to check out include the 8th street market for sure. Close weekend trips to Charleston, Asheville, Nashville etc. 04/20/2016
