  • I worked in the Surgical Services department(s) in the hospital. Hospital has a policy that travel nurses are not allowed to have any breaks. Hospital is unionized and only permanent staff nurses are allowed to have breaks because they are protected by contract. But, travel nurses are explicitly told by staff, management, and Human Resources AFTER you arrive for the assignment that there are no breaks for travelers. The hospital says this is spelled out in every agency contract they have and all travelers should be told by their agency before accepting the assignment. My agency did not inform me and it was not in my contract! 07/17/2014
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was stayed with friend. Housing was located in city of Brooklyn. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
