  • I worked in the Med Surg department(s) in the hospital. By far the worst assignment , facility not traveler friendly with extremely harsh working conditions . High patient ratios with high acuity patients , travelers and floats given worst assignments consistently. Upper management dictates schedule with no flexibility , apathetic to floor nurses . Short staffed majority of the time with low morale on units , staff nurses are cut throat to fravelers and verbalize how poor treatment justified because travelers make more money . Would definitely stay clear from wellstar facilities on any future assignments . 07/24/2017

  • Housing was approximately 8 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was comfort suite inn. Housing was located in city of Kennesaw,ga. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Hard to find good corporate housing in the area.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. As Atlanta area hospitals go, this is one of the better ones. Ratios are standard 2:1 in all of their ICUs, with occasional 3:1 due to call outs or rash of admissions. Technically a level 2 but in name only; they never ship anything out and only lack residents to be level 1. They use Epic charting system. I renewed my contract 3 times while I was there and would go back. 06/09/2014
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Hotels. Housing was located in city of Kennesaw. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Doesn't really apply to me, I took a stipend and stayed in area hotels when I did my shifts. I only live 3 hours away so I went home on my off days.
